The Ono speaker, designed by Remion Design Studio, is a result of years of development and engineering. Originally conceived as a diploma thesis by chief designer Andras Oravecz in 2011, the project was revisited and improved upon to create a truly exceptional speaker. With the technical development now complete, the Ono speaker has entered serial production, ready to redefine the audio experience.

The unique curved shape of the Ono speaker is not just an aesthetic choice but a result of meticulous engineering. Inspired by the form of a horn, reminiscent of Chief Lehel from Hungarian mythology, the design of the speaker optimally positions the internal components to deliver the perfect stereo sound. This innovative approach sets the Ono speaker apart from its counterparts, creating a truly unique and immersive audio experience.

The Ono speaker is not just a triumph of design but also of technology. It features two 50W deep-medium speakers and one high speaker, ensuring a rich and powerful audio output. The speaker can play audio files wirelessly via its Bluetooth antenna, providing seamless connectivity with various devices. Additionally, the Ono speaker comes with a rechargeable battery and an external adapter, allowing for portable and convenient use.

The journey of the Ono speaker began in Budapest in 2011 as a master project and thesis. After years of research and development, the technical phase was completed, and the vacuum casting phase is set to commence in March 2021. The Ono speaker is expected to be available for purchase in the second half of 2021, bringing its exceptional audio quality and unique design to audio enthusiasts worldwide.

Recognizing its outstanding design and ingenuity, the Ono speaker has been honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Audio and Sound Equipment Design category.
